WANTED: HOCKEY ACTORS AND FANS
- - Vancouver company shoots hockey film in Whistler - -
Vancouver, BC . . . Voice of Treason Productions is filming the climactic ice hockey scene for the action/comedy film HEART OF WHISTLER on Saturday August 26, 1-5 pm at Whistler's Meadow Park Sports Centre.
To capture the scene's excitement, director Ken Hegan (REMISSION IMPOSSIBLE; WILLIAM SHATNER LENT ME HIS HAIRPIECE) is seeking:
-adult ice hockey players with full gear, helmet, and stick
-100+ extras to cheer on the film's hockey star, Wade Fennig, a Vancouver actor and retired semi-pro hockey player
Fans and players will be thanked with:
beer, donuts, coffee, sponsored giveaways, and a free, fun skate!
Where: Meadow Park Sports Centre, Whistler
When: 1 - 5 pm, Sat Aug 26, 2006
Directions: off Highway 99, near the Alpine Meadows subdivision, 6 km north of Whistler Village

This action/comedy film is about a bored Whistler waiter (Vancouver actress/stuntwoman Rikki Gagne) who discovers her inner Olympian when she must race to deliver a frozen human heart to a dying transplant patient.
